osmjs software package provides osmium-based Javascript framework for handling OSM data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install osmjs
osmjs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the osmjs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep osmjs *
You will get with osmjs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
